Performance can be said to be the process behind the completed artwork: the process of thinking and the thought towards the completion of an artwork is a process. If we take the work of art as an art form and Visual Arts and Performing Arts as simply a medium, every art form can be a Performance. The ways of documenting the artwork is different in both streams but the end result is a complete artwork.

Omkar Nishikant Mankame is doing his MFA in Portraiture from Sir J J School of Arts and has completed his Bachelors in Painting from the same school. He is fond of nature and music, and has been learning Indian Classical music since 4 years. He is learning the sitar and the flute as well.
